Have devoured Old God’s Time. I love all of Sebastian Barry’s books, this one is as beautifully written as all the others but with so much more. Such a heart-rending story so we’ll told.
I loved both Old Gods Time - so sad and moving and The house of doors. Another brilliant book from Tan Twan Eng. Brought back memories of travelling in Penang years ago. Fabulous atmospheric story.
